This is definitely true! I play D&D with my friends all the time. Considering that our group consists of a filmmaker, an author, an animator, a musician, and a voice actor, our games are interesting to say the least. D&D gives you the chance to dive into the story in minute detail, from the huge scale of building a world to the small scale of character drama. It's a great way to express yourself and get out of your own head and into someone else's.
